Purity Engendered and
the Kiss of the Rabbit God
The Chinese rabbit god, Tu’er Shen, is also the god of forbidden love. Inspired by the short film “Kiss of the Rabbit God,” this project turns the idea of a “forbidden love” into something new by examining a forbidden love between oneself and one’s true gender identity.
